Changes

  • Extensions. Separately released extensions add capabilities through the Extension Bridge. Team administrators enable them per team and environment; they never receive secrets or storage keys. See extensions.
  • Conversational BI, the first extension: chat with your semantic models, including shared ones, and get charts with the SQL and metric definitions behind them. The installer can add it, with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini or Amazon Bedrock. See installation.
  • Any AI agent answers from your semantic models. The MCP tool query_semantic_model builds the SQL from the model's agreed metrics and joins, and reads with your own permissions. See MCP tools.
  • Build semantic models with your coding agent. The semantic-model skill interviews you about the questions the model must answer, tests each one against the real data and publishes after your approval. See agent skills.
  • Where a table comes from: the catalog shows a table's description and, for tables a pipeline produces, the last run, test outcome and upstream tables.

Install this version

Linux / macOS:

The installers pin the installation bundle and all application images to 0.7.0, and Conversational BI to 0.1.0. Docker with Compose is required. The release workflow builds images for Linux AMD64 and ARM64.
